la realtà è che è un film molto bello, l'amicizia è lo sfondo, è un tuffo nella Bulgaria profonda, che è come erano le nostre campagne i nostri paesi, di montagna, fino a pochi decenni fa.
se dovessi usare due aggettivi mi verrebbero in mente: sincero e affettuoso.

Emigrato negli USA, in seguito ad un incidente stradale, Kamen entra in coma. Dall'Ambasciata Americana a Sofia si rifiutano di dare il visto al suo migliore amico Ivan. Disperato, inizia a cercare la nonna di Kamen: lei conosce un'antica canzone popolare che, secondo la leggenda, ha il potere di scacciare la morte. Durante la ricerca Ivan incontra persone di ogni genere e registra con la telecamera le loro storie con la speranza che il suo amico sopravviva e possa vederle. La nonna è morta, ma la canzone viene ancora cantata. Riuscirà la sua magia a raggiungere il nipote dall'altra parte del mondo?
What a touching movie! This film will take you on a trip through a beautiful country: Bulgaria. Somehow a forgotten place in Europa. The film shows the ancient culture and beautiful scenery. The acting is superb and the situations often authentic.
This film is a wonderful story (don't worry, no spoilers ahead). The images are so powerful, just the way the actors and actresses are filmed is adding to the beauty and shows the wonders as much as it shows the sordidness of life. If you have never seen this movie yet and want to watch it, I have one thing to say, pay attention to the way people and landscapes are filmed.
Just a word about the main character, Ivan: He is great and the rest of the cast, obviously local people, are just unbelievebly perfect and touching.
